[期許] 害怕失敗和得失心

i know what the problem is, 越害怕失敗、得失心越重，壓力越大，越不快樂。

什麼時候才可以豁達的說出：失敗又怎樣，錯誤有怎樣，我走過試過奔跑過。

被自己的腳絆住，一邊走一邊跌倒。何不乾脆一點，選一個麻。

放開自己的心，拿出那翅膀，然後開始飛翔。
我要自我感覺良好。

答謝/送禮的藝術

下午要搭別人的車一起去philly看中秋節敬祝，讓我想到油錢的問題。那是小綠眼的朋友，我在想要小綠眼跟對方說，我們要分攤一部份的車錢。

我們和孟儒奕的關係很特別。其實儒奕是瓜地馬拉人(Latino)，高中畢業後移民到美國。大概是因為這幾年他知道這環境對國際人士其實並不挺友善，所以他大概也很樂於和為登成為朋友。他說為登是他第一個華人朋友。儒奕對中華文化有興趣，中秋節剛好費城有慶祝活動(舞龍舞獅、武術表演、吃月餅大賽。儒奕要開他的車載他的very hot女朋友栗雅、和我們一起去。儒奕常常覺得我們很客氣，對他們很好，所以對於分油錢這件事，他可能會說不需要。

但是真的不需要嗎? 我們送禮和答謝的分界和技巧在哪呢?

這沒有說明說，也沒有一定，但是每次說「依照感覺」也太玄了。

上個term，考期末考的前一天，儒奕的親人過世了。在那週我還遇到儒奕，他親人病得很重，醫師都無能為力，病人一直內出血但是找不到源頭，他和為登還聊了兩句關於這事情。我知道他考完期末考就要開車去賓州參加葬禮。我做了一個香蕉蛋糕給儒奕請為登轉交。其實當時我並不知道要怎麼比較「妥當」。那時我們又沒有非常熟稔，說是因為他親人實在很奇怪。後來小綠眼很天才，他和儒奕說

「安在測試家裡的烤箱溫度」

讓我想到佐賀阿嬤提到以前要給學生多準備一份便當，即使是特別準備的，也要說「阿，我剛好多做一份」。替對方表留一種「面子」。

有時送禮可以很直接，有時要很委婉。

有些答謝沒辦法用分攤錢的方式。或許對方不好意思收，或許對方覺得沒必要，但是人總是這樣。感覺和理性是兩個不同的腦。所以如果對方一直執意說沒關係，或許就是請對方吃東西。但是說「阿，為了要感謝你，所以請你吃東西」，這樣又很奇怪。或許要用個什麼理由，「ㄟ好久沒聚聚了，想請你來我家吃飯」，「歐，我剛好去哪哪玩，覺得你應該會很喜歡巴拉巴拉」。諸如此類吧!

人際間的維持是一種藝術

Baltimore MTA 公車

Baltimore 公車是我做過最有趣的交通工具。我記得高雄在招考公車司機時，在公車後放置一桶水，溢出少的人才會被錄取。相信我，這邊每一個公車司機都在台灣找不到開公車的工作。

知識，一小時七塊五毛

在我全校趴趴找工作時，找到了體育中心的家教機會。但當我後來有比較好的工作時，我就跟體育中心的說，我也許不能做，你可以找別人。但是如果真的需要你還是可以跟我說，因為他說目前沒有人，可是又有需求。

今天信件寄來了。我也答應了，因為我之前答應過阿。但當我答應後，我問了時薪，真是差點昏倒。

原來經濟學原理的每小時價格只有七塊五毛阿。

工作與否是一個trade-off
工作就是剝奪了休息時間，我在德州的同學說有工作後就沒時間玩。可是沒有工作沒有SSN，也很難認識人。

很想抱怨

需要工作就像需要讀書，都是training的一部份。

當大家都在往前走，不走的人就會被拋下。越拋越遠，最後趕不上。就像逃難時，腳再酸也要跟上，不然落到最後一個之後就沒有機會了。

我在這裡已經一個多月了，開學也兩個禮拜。事情大致都很順利，有工作=有錢，有朋友=有支持，有親人=有照顧。不過今天開始覺得累!

不行阿，你才剛開始。

我想起在澳洲的時候的經驗，第一個月充滿興奮，第二個月開始疲累和焦慮。如果沒有改善，第三個月之後就會break down.

(講到這就讓我想起上週五車子被吊走的事情)

上個週末和朋友去West Virgina, Gauley River泛舟。
星期五當天，我和小綠眼先把車子停在系館斜對面的馬路，那邊是路邊收費停車，自行投幣。三點半停，到了五點半出去時：阿車勒??? 接著心中的聲音出現(X...該不會被吊走吧)

然後就去問駐警隊阿，然後一番波折的去領了車。花了我兩支ipod touch的錢。真是嘆氣
這週又要辛苦工作，才可以買ipod touch阿。嘆
